Membership 

        Active membership shall be elected by a majority vote of the members
present at any meeting of the Board of Directors, after a period of a
ten-day notification to the entire membership of such application.
      
       Associate membership shall be elected by a majority vote of the
members present at any meeting of the Board of Directors, after a period
of a ten-day notification to the entire membership of such application.
Eligibility for Associate membership shall be at the discretion of the
Board of Directors.

        International membership shall be elected by a majority vote of the
members present at any meeting of the Board of Directors, after a period
of a ten-day notification to the entire membership of such application.
      
        Honorary membership shall be those persons who shall have rendered
the Association important service or those whom for any reason the
Association desires to honor.
      
        Student membership shall be given to any person currently enrolled in a
school whose curriculum is related to the textile and apparel industry.
      
        Retired membership shall consist of members retiring from active
participation in business and are identified as members in good standing
of Active or Associate Classes.

       
BU*Applicants must be generally or entirely engaged in the selling of textiles
(which includes allied fields which encompasses any and every article that
concerns itself with the manufacturing of a garment) to the manufacturing,
jobbing, or retail outlets.*
